I use it to slowly tile my desk in various coins.

Or when I'm broke and need a few bux for some fast food.

Currently I have a sh1tload of change. Thanks to my ex-landlord returning my security deposit in all pennies and dimes. ($425 is a LOT of pennies and dimes)

As for my usual change, I keep the quarters on the dresser for use in bars/driving and i throw the rest in a jar for later deposit.

Do you keep that in your purse? :) I have one of those coin sorter bank things that puts the coins in rolls automagically.

That little plastic insert in my wallet for coins is pretty girly isn't it? I try to hide it when I take coins out, but I have learned to uncare. I'd rather do that then put change in my pockets everytime I go out... and take it back out when I change at night.

I always keep a few pennies in my pocket. That way I ensure I always get a nickel/dime/quarter back and no pennies. Quarters are good for laundry and the rest for parking/vending machines.

If Ihave to pay 5.27, and I have a $10, I pay 10.02 and get 4.75 back. Thats the only way I can think of getting rid of those friggin pennies.

I usually don't buy things with cash. So I'm not going to carry around several pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters everywhere I go in the off chance that I might buy something and I might get to keep one more piece of paper in my wallet. Seems crazy to do that if you don't have a purse (such a hassle, the coins fall out of pockets, they fall out of my wallet, no matter what I do they go everywhere so it is highly annoying). When I make a purchase, I'll use the greenbacks and get change back. In the rare case that I make another purchase that day I'll use the spare change. If not I will get it out of my pocket when I get home. The quarters go into the car for parking meters that my wife uses at work. The rest goes in a small jar. When the jar fills up I cash it in and put that cash in my wallet - and the cycle repeats.

I keep it and when I have about $150-$200 worth of change, I exchange it at the credit union and then take a trip to the casino. If I win it's nice and if I lose it was kind of like found money to me anyways.

I keep it in a jar (it's actually a mug, but that's not the point) at home and when it gets to be a significant amount, I take it to the bank and deposit it.

<----- College student. Will use any form of currency as long as the cashier accepts it. (Honestly, with people like PAB and ROSSMAN here, I'd be suprised if people on these forums didn't use their change . . .. <---- not an insult ;) )
