I was reading the benefits of this keyboard layout and I'm wondering if anyone uses it... it sounds good, and from what I've read we should all be switching. Still I think the QWERTY layout has dominated the Pop culture just like how we've been stuck on the English Measurement Standard instead of the Metric...

I'm gonna have to give this one a big "no" because it took me forever to learn to type. It would be like learning a new language and god knows that I hate people from Papua New Guinea.

I have a Dvorak keyboard, but there's no point in learning it. Everywhere else I go will have QWERTY.

Studies have been done...the marginal cost of retraining everyone on dvorak will exceed the marginal benefit gained from switching to Dvorak [in value of time saved over a lifetime].

since the keys are all in the same positions, can't you just use software to convert a qwerty keyboard to dvorak?
