I turned on my heater last night. Last night low was 37F and it's still early Oct! A long, cold winter ahead...

it hit 32 here last night and the night before, we are in a valley, on the hill it hit high 20s

our heat is on

Heck no. We're still using our AC. We turned it off this afternoon but if it gets about 5 degrees warmer tomorrow, it'll be back on.

Upper 40's at night, 80's during the daytime. Beautiful fall weather 😎

Supposed to rain Friday night here though. 🙂

if it were 37F at night, personally, i would just get more blankets before turning on the heater.

I probably should do that to save some money.

Been using the heater for the past week. Its been in the low 30s at night in Detroit.

It seems like every 2 years we have a bad winter in Detroit. 2001s and last years winter was not bad. 2000 and 2002 winters were bad. 2004 looks like it might be a bad winter too.

Someone told me whenever there are hurricanes in florida, winter is gonna be bad.

I've only had two fires in the woodstove, a couple weeks ago. Warmed back up so haven't had any lately, but it'll be cold enough for a daily fire before the end of the month.

Do you have additional heaters besides the fire or that's it?
