I have an Omnikey Evolution (Ergo) at work.
I have an Omnikey101 (normal) at home.
I don't really find any differences....My wrists get no more tired on the non-ergo keyboard.
The center location of the arrows and del, ins keys, etc on the ergo kbd can be annoying.
MS Natural at home. The old one with the inverted "T" for arrow keys. Did MS really save that much space going to the diamond formation with the new ones? If I want a new keyboard, I got to pony up the $$ for the elite one with all the gizmos and doohickeys across the top. Bah!
I also use my index fingers however I do not have to hunt and peck. I use my two index fingers, my thumb for the space bar, left ring finger for shift and right ring finger for backspace. I type pretty fast.
btw i use a MS Internet Keyboard Pro... no ergo crap here.
Yes! Best keyboards ever. In a pinch they can double as a baseball bat too. Since my main computer is a ThinkPad, I just use the built-in keyboard, but I prefer my old Model M to any new desktop keyboard.
Give me a good old regular keyboard anyday, I can't get used to that ergonomic stuff. Of course, I've never given it a try long enough to see if it makes a difference, but I don't think I want to.
