Poll: Do you trust Paypal with your $?

I've never had a problem with them.

I trust them. So much so, I transfer about $200-300 from my bank account to PP monthly since I get an automatic 1.5% back on all purchases with my PP debit card.
 
PayPal has an excellent buyer protection policy, and no overdraft charges (you can't overdraft). Pretty cool for a debit card. I spend what I have, and no matter what, I can't go over.

Anyways, PayPal's "premier" account has one of the highest yields of any bank, and plus, you can't overlook the convenient of being able to pay directly through eBay. I feel MUCH safer paying through PayPal then sending a money order through the mail. Instant transaction, no extra 3-4 day wait time for the money to come through.
 
I have been a memebr for years now...not one single issue. Never had anything go bad.
I am a premier memebr, so I do get hit with more fees...but it allows me to accept CC funds without issues.

I've heard enough stories of a buyer making fraudulent claims and Paypal yoinking money straight out of the seller's account without question, any type of due process, or any way to appeal the claim to make me not trust them more than I have to.

they even call my home from time to time... just to see if i am happy with the service 🙂

i use a strong password and monitor it
don't keep money in it , just use the instant transfer to buy and when i get $ from selling, i either transfer it back to my savings account or buy something
 
No problems in 2 years. I often have transactions of hundreds of dollars, and I've kept a balance of around a $1000 in there. It just feels safe. And the convenience of instant eBay payments outweighs any possible risk, IMO.
