Personally I'm sick of all this fiddling around with Sadaam Husien(sp.). To the point where if his own country hasn't overthrown him then they're just as stupid, therefore why save the civilians? In my opinion they're on his side... so they're just as bad as him. Iraq hasn't done anything for us except make us worry about it's surrounding countries, threaten our oil supply and make us try to advance our military technology. So what do you think? what do you think we should do about this iraq problem?
 
Wow, I didn't think you could top your mentally handicapped thread, but this certainly comes close in terms of sheer stupidity.
 
thanks. I was just wondering though... I'm getting sick of Iraq and nothing being done about it, that's pretty much it.
 
You can't nuke a country and expect it to get rid of more problems than it creates. Not to mention that there are hundreds of thousands of civillians that aren't all angry militants like saddam.
 
Nuclear weapons are bad.
Setting them off is bad.
Fallout from them is bad, for them, and us.
So, I say, no nuke.
Just conventionally bomb them to hell and back.
 
Hussein's former bombmaker recently wrote a book and was on the radio today talking about how Saddam was in one month of deploying an atomic bomb on a long-range missle at the beginning of the Gulf War.
 
Yes of course, nuke everything/body you dislike. Go ahead. Nuke me. WTF ? Most of the people in Iraq don't like Saddam either. They just can't do anything about it. 😱

Well seeing that there is lots of innocent people we shouldn't. Even though getting rid of SH would be good, there would be a down side. Another crazy military leader would take over. Then if we got rid of that person some other idiot would take over. It would be a never ending cycle causing the country to go into a crisis. And if Iraq is in crisis oil prices around the world would go up (remember that Iraq has a lot of oil, so thats another reason not to bomb them).
the problem with the oil could even put us and the world into a recession.
bottom line, don't nuke them yet. But keeping bombing their military bases/radar stations. However we know for sure that they have nukes/bio/chem weapons we should attack at full strength (which might be our nukes).
 
Why don't we just use chemical weapons and kill all them without destroying the cities... Then we can just move right in..... 🙁

Yeah, I'm 17, In May I'll be 18. I don't want to go to war as much as you would like to believe. It doesn't really effect you other than the amount of money in your pocket to support guys my age to go over there and kill the B@stard. So what is your solution to this problem of Sadaam? Keep our noses in our own buisness? I'm cool with that, that way I won't be in the middle east getting my head blown off or being the next test subject for one of his biological/chemical bombs.
 
hmmm a really good idea to nuke Iraq. greeeat. let's see, iraq just maybe are able to create nukes although they do not have the long-range missiles carrying the nukes. so either they nuke israel with the missiles they have, or they send one guy to NYC whith a small nuke. setting that small nuke off near your hometown sounds like a really good idea huh?

Check this out. Not that you could carry a nuke that large by yourself, but there are smaller nukes...

STOOPID talk like this makes me really happy that I live in Sweden...

Forget not the fact that we have little quarrel with the people if iraq. Just the few dozen nasty scumbags holding control.

A nuclear attack would certainly free their people of further worries...but also would free them of life. Nukes aren't meant to be used.
 
I checked that out last night Asha'man I think that you should definately be concerned with people throwing Nukes around Iraq.. the radiation may be enough to effect you in front of your computer in Sweden, so if I were you, I wouldn't be glad to live in sweden. Yeah, I live in New York, and yeah, I may have some effect of a nuclear bomb where I live as well (upstate). In fact my house would probably be a bomb site back in 89' when we where over in Iraq before. I live about smack dab inbetween a power plant and a Military base (that no longer exists). Like I said before though... even war was to go on, I probably wouldn't be here, I'd be sent over there, I'm 17... going on 18.
 
hehe I'm sure that I would get affected one way or another if not for the radiation, I'm sure something else. But I would live a bit longer than you thou....

and yeah i am not so sure as you are that the ppl of iraq really enjoy living in that hmmmm not so lovely country. We have quite many people around here from that region and most of them seem reaaally happy that they managed to get out of there. And I'm sure that you have many more of 'em.

Our oil...hehe....it's not like they are stealing oil from JR or anything. they do whatever they want to with it. Can you say $4/gallon? That is what we are living with here and most other european countries.

well, then, if you want to get technical then it's not anybody's oil, not even the country that it's present in. It's nobody's oil. Like I said, I'd be headed to war, you.... you'd still be sitting in front of your computer while bullets are flying past my head and chemical/biological bombs being dropped around me. What makes you think you'd live longer?
 
Nuking anyone, or anybody is bad. Only time I would ever justify using nukes would be if it was between that and dying. Do you realize the environmental consequences of using a nuke?
