I was just thinking the same thing... there are so many similar suffixes in chemistry... geez, gotta be tough!
Nitrate/nitrite, -ene, -ane, -yne, -one, etc.
Hehehe they do say mistakes are how new chemicals come to market.....
and of course front page news on explosions in chemical districts.....
