I got straight A's my whole life (and I'm just a few months away from my Ph.D in Chemical Engineering) yet I cannot tell the difference between a word that ends in 'tion', 'sion', or any other ending with the same sound.

Any problems with Molality and Molarity 😉

I was just thinking the same thing... there are so many similar suffixes in chemistry... geez, gotta be tough!
Nitrate/nitrite, -ene, -ane, -yne, -one, etc.

Hehehe they do say mistakes are how new chemicals come to market.....

and of course front page news on explosions in chemical districts.....😉

No but I think being anal-retentive is a sign of stupidity, especially when you notice others often and think you're all good..

Yes. Everyone will make a mistake every now and then but when you can't freaking understand what someone has written... well that's a problem. Either they're stupid or just lazy, which is actually pretty stupid also.
