<<I also consider how long some one has been registered. If Someone has been registered for a few months and is already Golden or PT, I think.....NEF. >>

totally agree. If I see someone who registered after me and has twice the post count, I immediatly think useless neffa.

<< Occasionally I find myself thinking "Damn. He's just a newbie. He has no idea what he's talking about". But then I remember the good old days when I was just a newbie! 🙂 >>

Precisely how I am about this.... I remember being just a newbie (which wasn't too long ago!), and I did not feel comfortable that my helpful posts were taken less seriously than someone with a much higher postcount.

But that's how life is... you can't help respecting someone's seniority. At least I can't.

i usually consider the content of a person's posts, rather than their quantity. getting a high post count means nothing.

i usually look at how long they've been here vs how many posts they have. If u've been here only for a year, but are golden then i'll usually laugh at you.

yes, but also, i take into account how long they have been here. a guy that has been around since 1999 (yours truely 😀) will have more backing behind him that a guy that just joined

<< Just curious, obviously there's a seniority factor, but are their comments taken more seriously? >>

QUALITY not quantity. If you bother to search the messages from "Lifers" alot of them are one word or one sentence pointless replies.
