Post count doesn't really matter. But, if they've posted more, you've seen more of their replies, so then that might make you take them more serious.

How about this - go back to 3rd grade English, and I'll take you more seriously. :p

Edit: Bah, you fixed it :|

Occasionally I find myself thinking "Damn. He's just a newbie. He has no idea what he's talking about". But then I remember the good old days when I was just a newbie! :)

PS. Insert "she" for "he" if you want. I don't want the PC people to be mad ;)

neah...when you get to be golden, you pretty much know if the person is a neffer or actually contributes..

so it really depends on the person.

I hear everything that nitemare says is golden though. He is the total bomb. You should definitely listen to him...

Nitemare says to paypal him money/dinero...now/pronto :D

I would say I would listen to someone with a higher post count. Thats because if they've been around that long or post so much, I'll probobly know if their full of sh!t. If I don't remember seeing any BS from a high poster, than I will probobly listen to what they are saying(unless its BS).

Nice one! But then how do you explain the fact that I'm also a lifer with a high post count and everything I write is, at the very least, worth consideration? Most of my posts are of a terribly high caliber.

Booby.

Skoorb borders on useless most of the time, his redeeming grace was the Skoorb effect. Now we'll never be rid of him.

Well bordering it is fine with me - the real question is: Which side of that border am I on? The useless side or the non-useless side?

I also consider how long some one has been registered. If Someone has been registered for a few months and is already Golden or PT, I think.....NEF.

The KEYword is terribly. ;)

:p

And to answer the question: Absolutely not!

If you are really serious, every post should be taken on it's own merit. (Then 'why' am I bothering to post here? Good question. . . . goodbye . . .)

It does influence first impressions, however the content of the posts is what influences my final opinion of the person.

edit: oh yeah, and their heatware! :D

I am also thankful for the introduction of Mrs. Skoorb to these threads. She's hot. :D
