Poll: Do you shop at walmart?

Yes with reasonable frequency. I'd prefer to buy food from a grocery store or other items from a place like Target but fact is Walmart's prices are pretty unbeatable and I'm willing to surround myself with inbreds much of the time for that savings. We don't buy perishables from walmart because we find their quality to be subpar but things like milk and toiletries, etc. Walmart is really the place to go.

Plus some walmarts are not nasty. There is a fairly new superwalmart a few miles from the old apartment and it wasn't too bad - it was clean and not a zoo most of the time.

whats wrong with walmart? it opened up nearby a couple of years ago, and i've been there maybe 10 times...Renu contact solution is generally cheaper than most other stores, and I even got two platinum GBA:SP's a few days before it went on sale for $70/pop, which is a hot deal all in its own.

Yeah. I hate going there, but it's convenient and for the most part, cheap.

You never heard of Sears?

Orchard Supply is a hardware store chain owned by Sears, and they've got stores all over California.

Mervyn's is owned by Target and has over 260 stores in l4 states (according to their website)

Yeh, but if you could get everything in that list under the same roof, and for cheaper, why would you really go anywhere else? (outside of ethical/personal reasons?)

The superwalmart is 5 mintues from my house. Everything else is...well further.

How often do you go to buy dish towels, kitchen appliances, and yard tools on the same trip to the store? Since they'd be three separate trips, doesn't much matter if they're under the same roof.

I go there all the time. I always complain that the employees are paid too much and should be paid less than minimum wage and should work more free overtime. Then I walk around and complain that there isn't enough stuff made in China. Finally before I leave I ask why they haven't put all their competition out of business yet.

There's a Walmart about 1.2 miles from here... so we go when we have a bunch of stuff like bath stuff and house stuff to get...

Best prices for household stuff.
Might even find a hot deal.
Definetly a no brainer.
