i am currently running 1 (one) liquid crystal display.

question: why would someone want dual displays? it's like having your cake, and eating it too!

I have one "economy" 17'' CRT that cost me $150 after rebates. I'm too poor to afford an lcd monitor:frown:! I still have a Pentium 3 500MHz! I hope to get an LCD soon though, then I'll run my cheap CRT and the LCD. I do have a DVI port on my video card though (and S-Video out), so I'm prepared!

I've run dual monitors in the past (two 17 inchers), and loved them, but right now I'm down to one 19 inch CRT (Philips 109B2). However, I'm hoping to get another 17 inch CRT or two in the near future and have a dual or triple monitor setup. 😛

You only say that cuz you haven't tried it 😀

I set up a dual@ work (2x19" CRT) with an ebay PCI graphics card. Gonna have to make a new desk at home and get a second monitor there, because it drives me nuts to do anything on my single 17" monitor now!

Just moved from one to 3. its more than I can handle. Thinking of getting rid of one. Dont have the desk space for it all.
samsung 19" lcd on ati all in wonder 9700 pro dvi
samsung 17" 16:9 lcd on matrox G450 PCI dvi
Ag Neovo X174 17.4" on matrox G450 PCI analog

Someone else said it first, but also a "ghetto" dual CRT setup. A 19" primary on a GF2 AGP 64MB card and a 17 inch secondary an a 32MB GF2 PCI card. Tomorrow my GeForce4 Ti4200 should be in and I'll switch to that, keeping my same setup.

I will never go back to a single monitor again.

<dreamy>One day, I'll be able to afford two LCDs of at least 18 inches.</dreamy>
