*POLL Do you remove the metal tabs from pop cans when drinking them?

I never remove the tabs... who cares bout 'em... I champ into the little ass POP (I'm from Michigan, ok?) can quite quickly anyway, so even if it did bother me it's gonna be cashed in 10 minutes anyway.

the only soda withing 500mile radius from here would be baking soda in people's kitchens...

When you open up a can, the go "pop" not "soda" b!tch!


And yeah i take those things off, they are annoying as well (you cant create vacuum right to drink the stuff, air leaks in between. And if you know whats up, you remove the whole thing that goes around the little cylinder so you dont have to worry about cutting your lips
 
Not for about ten years.. back in high school it became a 'thing' with the stoner crowd to wear beer can tabs around their necks on strings, and many of course cheated with soda can tabs... people were always going around asking everyone for extras and I managed to get pretty good at it, usually getting the little metal O-ring off along with the tab.

Ummm...you must be drinking some fvcked up soda then, cuz mine make a little pssst kinda sound, not a pop.
 
I actually do....we save them at work, and for every 1000 of them you turn in to Childrens hospital, they donate a certain amount of money to some charity....might as well...I only remove them after the soda is gone though 🙂
 
No. I leave the tab up, just because it annoys people. People who get annoyed by the status of the tab on other people's soda cans need to move the the Mojave desert.
 
Where is the option for "I break the metal tab without opening the can and use the sharp edge of the tab to poke a hole in the small circular button at the top of the can, then shake the can to drink it in non-spillable "fountain/spray mode".
 
No even with the thing turned around, its still pretty sharp and gets irritating compred to the dull round edges of the tab.

Here's one.. how many of you can remove the tab that gets folded down inside when you open it, in under 10 seconds? 😛
 
I still say you should add the option for "I drink from the soda can without opening it". If you put a pinhole in the top center of the can, cover this hole with your finger while shaking the can, then spray it into your mouth, it works as a non-spillable portable soda-fountain.

As a bonus, when you are done, you can return the can to the store, pointing out it must have been empty when you bought it 'cause it isn't open yet.
