I'd be willing to bet that 99% of you giving "advice" on this subject are unqualified. (although, what ELSE did i expect from ATOT? There's always an abundance of self proclaimed experts here). Can you walk into a bar tonight, identify the hottest woman there, approach and win over her and her friends and eventually start a sexual relationship with her? Consistently? I'll bet that the vast majority of you wouldnt even have the balls to approach. Most of the guys preaching here need this hypothetical class as much as everyone else....the difference is they aren't willing to admit it.

I will admit, I am not Rico Suave, and definitely a geeky guy (and I am also a recluse by nautre <I enjoy reading more than I enjoy large crowds> ). Point taken. I am no expert, but I have realized that women are basically the same as guys in many, many ways. There is no reason to be scared of talking to them. The idea is to treat them as normal human being and you will be fine. i.e. -- Man up.

BTW, I am a virgin, so no I have never asked a girl at the club whether she wanted a night cap or not. 😉 But now, I can easily approach a stranger (boy or girl) and strike up an interesting conversation with them. This was not the case before college and somewhat in college. It is something I had to learn. But again, you are right in saying I am no expert, but I do know a thing or two about how to talk to a person. It is just strange to see so many people so scared to talk to girls. It is actually sad.

BTW... Shakespeare wasn't the first one to say that. Read some of Plato's writings. That is a very key point. If I at all offend you and come off as egotistical, then my apologies. Something I deal with is pride. No big deal, we all have our vices, but it doens't mean the advice isn't sound.

If the class is being taught in the year 2159, everyone on this board would be dead and therefore your question is moot.

An instruction manual doesn't need to give you rules that work 100% of the time with all women. All you need to know is how to appeal to most people, most of the time. Human behavior and preferences can be learned. That means women and men can be learned. Otherwise, psychology would be an exercise in futility.

So you may be an unique sunflower. But you are similar to every other sunflower in the garden in which you reside, and are to be cared for in the same way as all the others.
