as the other 2 threads stated, there is a right and wrong way to breast feed in public.
Out of the consideration of others, mothers should properly cover themselves.
I would not care if my older kids (if i had any) saw that because i would make sure they don't think a naked body is taboo however, not all people would feel this way.

AGREED.

No, I don't mind. I have 2 daughters and 1 son.

/rant

What I do mind is the BIG DEAL people make of breasts!

I have always been relatively buxom... 36 C-D depending on the brand of bra. I have always had quarter sized, milk chocolate colored nipples. Unless I wear a padded bra, my nipples tend to be visible. When I wear a padded bra, not only do my breasts appear even more prominent, but sometimes you CAN STILL SEE MY NIPPLES!!!! My husband says I have nipples of steel. :p

We are mammals. We have breasts and we nourish our young with them. That's all they are, really. People should get over it.

/end rant

It seems odd to me that with such a landslide vote, exposure of female breasts is still illegal in the US in most cases/areas (yes I know there are a few places where it's ok). You might say that dissenters aren't "internet" types, or that they don't visit this site - but posting pictures of breasts on this very site isn't allowed either. It seems like an odd dsicrepancy, what are some thoughts on that?

The mods try to keep this place "safe for work." They didn't remove any breastfeeding photos, as you might have noticed, because those are not portraying anything sexual.

A whole acronym has developed for doing that (NSFW), and a great deal of forums are able to operate in this fashion. What breastfeeding pics?

There were several photos posted in related threads.

In this thread, see posts by alchemize (1), shortylickens (4), tk109 (1)... There is also that parenting magazine cover linked in more than one thread around here somewhere.
