I listen to AM almost daily.

AM is the only medium where the DJs are worth listening to IMO. The DJs on FM radio in San Diego are horrible, they blather on about useless sh!t all day long and they aren't funny in the least. I listen to KFI640 AM from Los Angeles. John and Ken show baby!
i listen to AM radio for sports. and i agree with the DJs on FM radio, but Dave, Shelly & Chainsaw (101 KBG) are funny. i listen to them everyday on the way to work, and i constantly find myself cracking up at the jokes, bits, and songs they play. really makes the morning drive enjoyable

I haven't listened to them. I have that station on right now though. Good music. I also like 94.9 FM, they are all about the music and not the stupid drone DJs. That stupid jackoff and christie show is real crap.

Yip everyday. I cant stand morning FM DJ's to me they are just fricken dumb. They talk about stupid topics and laugh about every fricken thing. Also when i go for months with out listening to FM and i turn to FM its the same fricken song i heard several months ago.

My favorite AM talk shows in order are

1. Coast to Coast with George Norry
2. Troubleshooter with Tom Martino
3. Phil Hendry

The Troubleshooter show is pretty cool and interesting. Its amazing how crooked people are and how easily they let themselves get ripped off. Tom is a bulldog when he goes after business or people that have wronged other people out of their money.

Coast to Coast is interesting. Granted there are some serious whack jobs out there that call in but its entertaining.

Phil Hendry, well he is just different....

sports and news on AM...sometimes long distance channels are fun. Not quality though.

I never used to because whenever I was in a car - prior to this gov't job I have now - I was always listening to a CD. Since I have a POS work car with no tape or CD player, I quickly discovered that just about all the music on FM radio sucks. Now I love AM. My favorite by far is Phil Hendrie. That guy is a freakin genius. He cracks me up so hard sometimes I have to pull over. Tom Leykis is sometimes entertaining too.

I listen to talk radio on AM every day at work, sometimes in the car. At home or in the car, when I want music, I listen to CDs.

rarely listen to am, i go to cnn news radio or kcbs news radio for traffic reports and basic news. talk radio is trash. the callers are stupid, the hosts talk out of their asses, its horrible. they can talk for half an hour and say nothing of real substance.

Yes, WLS in Chicago, most of the time (and WDRV - The Drive / Classic Rock the rest of the time).

It's AM stereo! :D
