few months ago i'd say no but now i voted yes, things have been getting better here and I just think back to past jobs when I start not liking it.

Pay isn't as good as my last job, but over all I have much more room to grow and am already doing things here I would never of had the chance to do at my last one.

I really hate working for someone else.

But if I have to do it, this job is better than many. It has its good days and its bad days. Most bad days are related to the constant nagging feeling that I am not being challenged by what I do.

Yes I do. It's fun, interesting, and I'm learning a lot doing it. I'm currently being overworked, but it was a personal choice. I could have easily avoided it. On top of liking the job I get to work with some great people.

I work at walmart and it sucks. There are some real winners in that place.

My other job at school working for the computer department rocks.

The stuff that I'm doing is REALLY cool, the pay is good, and I like the people that I work with are great, but the "Big Corporate" environment feeling really puts a damper on enjoying the work. There is so much red tape that prevents anybody from getting anything done around here, and there really is a sense of dread/sadness around here.

Yes. I set my own hours, work from my house, travel, and make good money. I used to actually like the work itself, but not so much lately.

The only negative about my job...and it's a big one:

We get 2-3 new interns from Germany every three months. So far, 90% of them have been very attractive, intelligent, and easy to talk to. The downside is that none of them have been single AND straight; we did have one lesbian intern. I get to be good friends with them at least, but it sucks to have them leave after three months and the process begins again.

Yes I like mine. My boss is flexible and the people I work with are great. Half the time I get to surf the intarweb because I finish all my work though, that makes it suck sometimes.

I like my job for the following reasons:

First and foremost I can post on ATOT all day long without repercussions /*knock on wood*/
My employeer pays me well and provides me with above average benefits
My boss is easy to get along with and trusts that I can accomplish what is asked of me without having to look over my shoulder
Co-workers are all friendly and provide an entertaining work environment
I technically have an hour lunch which means I'm never rushed to eat and get back to work
I only work 20 minutes from my home and NEVER have to deal with bad traffic
The drive to and from work takes me through some scenic mid-western back roads which is pleasant
Furthermore, my position causes me little to no stress 99% of the time and I'm part of the on call IT staff which I believe is fairly if not extremely uncommon

Reasons I don't like my job and am thinking of looking elsewhere:

Location, Location, Location (ie. I don't wish to live in the Mid West any longer than I deem necessary)
My position as a Cognos Administrator/Programmer is not all that exciting nor is it challenging
I'm not outside at all during the working hours
Every Monday/Tuesday as well as every other weekend I am held back due to a pager and a laptop
Although I am paid well I could of course be paid more
Job security isn't quite there
I write code and create reports all day as oppose to being more business oriented

I like my Job for the most part.

Except for my Douchebag boss who when I was just starting my job loved to make my life a living hell. I guess I have a secure job because I told him to fvck off many times :) He can't afford to loose me;)

nope it totally sucks...hate the city I live in, company is full of the worst form of corporate bureaucracy, and most of the time I'm completely bored at work.

I'm doing my job search now and hope to have something by the time my lease runs out in August. Anyone need a software test automation engineer in Texas or Cali? :D
