=[POLL]=Do You like Eminem?

Sorta was my answer.

Talent-wise he smokes most of the other pieces of sh*t that pose as rappers. That's based on my limited (because I don't like most of what I see) exposure.

In my mind rap isn't something you can "fake" talentwise, like pop with Britney Spears and all those boy bands. A bad rapper wont sell records, period. Nelly and Ja Rule don't count as rappers, so don't use them as an example. He has an uncanny ability to write clever, although controversial, lyrics and his accomplishments speak for themselves.

his free-styles skills are pretty ill for a pop rapper(rapper in general), so yes, I like his songs. I still the think the media is always after a bad boy and it happend to be him.

What, the "I just got my nuts caught in a blender" vocal style doesn't do it for you?

I don't agree. 50 cent, for instance, doesn't sell skill but his image. Britney spears has more musical ability in her left foot than 50 cent in his wildest dreams. People can make it in nearly any industry without any real skill/talent if they have the right following.
