if I can't shift+del a file, i'll delete it regularly and then go right to the recycle bin on the desktop and empty it on my PC.
if i'm on someone elses PC and they have stuff in theirs, i have urges to empty it for them.

I have the recycle bin and delete confirmation disabled. If I press 'delete', the file is gone.

Recycle bin is disabled by default on my standard images. When I delete files, I expect them to be flagged as deleted for security reasons. I just need a good free space wipe to make them actually GONE.

once you delete.. you never undelete.

if you're not sure if you want that file later.. why delete it.

why not rename recycle bin "storage for later" bin

Recycle bin, recycle bin...is that that thing files you delete are put into if you're silly and don't use shift-delete?

Recycle bins are for losers. Mine is disabled. Why would I delete something only to have it still be there??!!!

I think I've only deleted something I later wanted 2 times in my life. Both times it wasn't a big deal.
