One big one on the porch.. one small one at the end of the driveway next to the mailbox...one of those w/ a wooden stick and plastic flag, that sticks in the ground... somebody in our neighborhood went out and bought a whole bunch of them on sep 11th and posted them next to EVERY SINGLE MAILBOX in our subdivision.. it is very patriotic and warming whenever i drive into our subdivision now...

i think the *real* question is whether you had the colors on your house BEFORE sept 11. Now *THATS* patriotism. It's easy to be patriotic when it's "popular." Its a whole different thing if you were patriotic before anyone else was. And for that matter, I also had the USMC Colors...the red and gold...hanging as well.

In the newspaper I was reading about flag thieves. This one old lady put out a flag that only 48 stars on it and some punk stole it. The funny thing was there was one in the classifieds in the same paper, but I don't know if it was the same one or not.

Yes, a 4'x6' one hanging from a mast on the front porch. We had purchased it in-time for display this past July 4th, and Flag Day---the first time we openly celebrated those holidays since we moved into this house in 1994. A yellow, and black ribbon were attached to the mast just above the flag on Sept. 11th. The yellow was taken off about 1 month after that fateful day, but the black one remains in remembrance, of any of the victims of the attack, and the fallen heroes & soldiers.

Since July 4th, I have yet to take it down. I don't foresee a time in the near future when I will. :)

The flag on my home is only an outside indication that the American flag, and all it stands for, has, and will always prevail in my heart & mind, as will freedom, and the pursuit of justice.

Yep..been in this house 2 years now and have had a flagpole in the yard from day 10 :D

no. I dont believe in symbolism. I dont have any need to put a flag anywhere. I support my country and all, but I just dont feel that displaying a flag will do anything useful.

yes, i think every house / store has one... dont think i saw a single house that didnt have a flag up.

I have always had a flag up. Even tho my parents dont like it to much i have it right outside. And its a good flag to, cloth and hand made.
