POLL: Do you hate giving rides?

I don't know what it is about me, but I hate giving rides. Even if I know the person a little. Tommorow I was going to be driving me and my sister back home for the long weekend and she's like my friend is coming. I met her a few times and don't really like her because I haven't really said 2 words to her and don't like the idea of a 2 hour drive with her. What do you guys think?

Well having had to mooch lots of rides from friends back home, I can empathize with those who need them. So if they're relatively nice about asking I don't feel too bad about doing it.

What does that have to do with being anti-social? Most of the time ppl just sit back and don't even indulge in small talk.

It seems like an unusually high percentage of those who ask me for rides have some bizarre requirement ot agenda that just blows my schedule and puts me all out of whack.

Not really.

Now, today I had to drive my cousin for 30 minutes through evacuation traffic and then back so she could hang out with her friend for 3 hours.

I wasn't happy.

Hmm, all my friends have cars so this question is pretty much pointless. The only time I ask for a ride or am asked for a ride is to do someone a favor like follow them to drop their car off or pick it up. I don't mind doing this at all though.

Edit-I'd be surprised if this happens to me more than 2 or 3 times a year.
