Poll: Do you hate engineering?

Im am going to bet 90% of the people that will vote in this poll wont be engineering students.

CompSci. The only thing I dislike is having to take the same technical courses as those in practical engineering courses who will actually use them. Most of the non-major engineering courses I've taken don't apply to CS in the slightest.

Im doing Civil now.

I despise it.........with a passion.....but Ill hate it in 6 years while driving a bmw.....

BioE here. This one time I had a dream that i was a humanities major... everything was so beautiful.

I love engineering. It's a challenge, sometimes requiring no sleep on some nights, and a minimal social life. However, it will pay of in the end when we go into the workforce and actually help society.

<-- ChE here.

it's all right. i love the subject but as school work it just isn't so fun. a lot of work. i don't hate it though.

<-- 4th year comp e

Love it (Computer Engineering), and thankfully I'm good enough at it that I can have some kind of social life and relaxation time as well. Plus there's that whole "It's either Engineering or playing in the sandbox" school of thought that, while I don't buy into it all the way, is still really fun to joke with non-Engineers about 😀

I'm not an engineering student, but I voted anyways.

bastard :| 😉

i'm sure you aren't the only one though 😀

I got tricked. If there was something mentioning the prejudices of the OP towards engineering students in the title or subtitle I would have avoided the thread.
