Poll: do you find it unattractive when women swear?

they should swear to emphasize a point but not casually. My stepmother swears alot and she just sounds like a dumbf#ck when she does

Most of the time it's pretty stupid/annoying when a chick swears, cause half the time they don't use it properly. At least that's my experience, from my little sister. Whenever I hear her swear, I cringe! It sounds so stupid! ugh. But if they use it properly it can sound just as "normal" as if a guy was saying it.

if its every other word, then its very unattractive. if in context like someone else said earlier in this thread, then its fine.

I like it when the hot one is talking with some filth... that's kinda cool.. i swear alot too by default, i can't help it.. swearing is no big deal, just not if it's like where you have to read between the lines or something. heh...

I wouldn't say it bothers me really, but I think when someone never swears you kind of subconsciously think they are smarter. Like when people use the f-word all the time, you mentally peg them as an idiot.

No. Maybe I've been influenced by my sister, but expecting a woman to be modest/ladylike and not swear seems kind of passe to me.

<< It doesn't bother me so much. Unless it is the

trailertrash-ghetto@ss-bigtoothed- swearing where every other word is B!tch, Sh!t etc etc......that is just ignorant.

But a woman has to be free to express...just like a man.

Yup.

I don't have a problem with it. I mean, it's only natural to blurt out "sunuva..." if you stub your toe or something. But I think anyone who swears with every other word is kinda immature and I usually stray far away.

<< Yep, i can't stand it when women cuss. And when any girl is around me i will never cuss, or even use vulgar words. Only excpetion is the board, i might use a few words here and there, and i can't control who reads it.

Nice rule Sean. I don't cuss, and I don't really like it when anyone around me does. Well, they can, free speech. But using swear words frequently wears them out. If I used even one cuss word to emphasize my point, my friends would get it, and probably be speechless as well. The inverse of use em or lose em. But I know very few guys (gentlemen) who specifically refrain from swearing around women. Children maybe, not women. A sign of respect. 🙂

Meh

Swearing, Belching, Farting, whatever....

I do it, why shouldn't she?

I find it irrelevant to her attractiveness.

Edit: If she swears every other word I think it woud make her sound rather unintelligent (much like it does in males), and I find intelligence very attractive, so I guess inderectly a great deal of swearing is unattractive. But a normal amount doesn't affect her attractiveness.

Anyone who overdoes swearing sounds ridiculous. It just doesn't make sense to me. Why not hold out until you're really pissed, and then people will know?

Nik
P.S. Hey you

Yes, I hate it when they see me naked for the first time and say, "Gawd damn! I ain't never seen anyone that small before!"

if they swear all the time I find them stupid, they might still be hot.

I just wouldn't date them. But occasionally isn't a big deal

From a woman's point of view.. I don't swear myself, except for on rare occasions (VERY po'ed, stubbed a toe, etc), and I agree with many of the posts so far.. when people swear A LOT, it makes them sound extremely unintelligent.. At the very least, if you're going to say something [equivalent to any given swear word] all the time, be creative.. make up a new, original thing and say it in its place.

I find it unattractive when men swear too, at least significantly more often than I do.. The exception is occasional dirty talk.. either saying or being said to.. 🙂
