do you feel like a grunt or do you feel like you're part of the corporation and that the manager is your "friend"?

I've never worked at a fast food restaurant.

we worked a lot and it was owned by a family. they treated us like family if they liked you. we even called them mama and papa scaropolsis.

they treated us like grunts and made us work around 35 hours a week. i dont really think thats right for a 16 year old.

I have never worked in fast food, but worked retail as a summer job a few years back. Yes you are a grunt of the corporation.

I used to work has a whooper flipper at BK.

the whole store was 90% black. there was one time my manager gave this white cashier a test. it was something like 3.32+2.53 =?
the girl got it all correct and the manager thought she cheated.

absolutely hated that place.

Both...I had a really good supervisor and then a douche. They make all the difference.
