I certainly do... I hate it when I'm stuck in traffic, but I love driving around, its alot of fun. I love the windows down, with the music up, just cruising along. I'd love a convertible though...

Very much. I really like finding my way from place to place using back roads. It makes for a fun afternoon.

I used to really love it. Until I drove up and down 7 hours each way to Buffalo for 4.5 years. About 20 times in all.

And these days traffic everywhere in NY is really not helping. They need to finish the highway expansion jobs within a year or two... not 5-10. :|

Nothing special. I did for a while after I first got my license, but that's ancient history.

I love to drive.
But I agree with this, traffic here has only gotten much much worse.

In AZ, all the time is traffic time. You can hit stop and go on a Saturday afternoon.

As long as it is not a daily commute, I enjoy it. Have done around 4.5-5K miles already this month. Driving that much per month will end soon as the Michigan Ren. Festival Season ends.

NO! :frown:

My ideal employment situation would be to live above, or next door to where I work. All my friends and family would visit me, rather than the other way around. As it is, I put about 5K per year on my car, and that's too much.

When I was still living with my parents, I'd get an itch to go cruising at 3:00AM and do it. My car didn't even have a radio! After I got my own place, married and had kids, I never got the itch again...

Yes. Despite their quirks and people thinking they are a female-style car, VDubs (and specifically Jettas) are a sh!t-load of fun to drive. Any other car won't do.

I used to do this. But the abundance of deer in the area make me say no to myself when I get the urge, at least with my car. My Jeep has 150w lights mounted to the front that light up the road (and trees, and sidewalks, and forests) very well.

Yes that's why I own a truck with a manual tranny.

Now if they could just do something about all the morons that I have to drive with every day.

I don't particularly enjoy driving. If I didn't have a car payment, albeit, mine's not so large, or have to pay for maintenance when it needs it, I'd have so much more money available for more important things. IE sparring gear, contact lenses, and computer upgrades.

Yes. I like to lose my way and then find new routes and explore new areas, especially when there is little traffic. My MR-2 yearns for pavement. :D

I drive over 3000 miles a month, I'm indifferent.
Being in my car is essentially my life.

What do you do for a living if you don't mind my asking?

Yeah I do... it's relaxing to take a little ride now and then and listen to music.
