I bought my car on Ebay, but other than that, I sell only.
Old books make mogul $$$!
What kind of car, and how was the transaction?

You're the reason I rarely post hot deals anymore.
You're welcome, btw.

yeah, people like that seem to piss me off.
I tried the whole Ferengi thing a couple years ago. Around Christmas, those little purr kittens were selling for $20 or so at Wal-Mart, while they were selling for $75 or so online. I went to the local wal-mart and found 8 in stock. Bought two of them and put the rest on layaway.
Went home and put the first two up on Ebay. Got around $75 each for them so I was making a nice profit. Great, right? Wrong. My little sister found the kittens and had such a fun time playing with them. Couldn't help but think of all the other kids my sisters age that would have fun playing with them and all the parents that are frantically looking for them.
Anyway, I ended up buying 4 of them total (2 for my sister, and 2 for the people on Ebay) and then let the rest go back on the shelf.
Greed sucks.

I just call it being resourceful. I mean, if you can buy something for cheaper than it is selling for... what person wouldn't go for it? You have to take advantage of what you are given. You will never get anywhere if you don't.
There's nothing wrong with finding hot deals and reselling them. It doesen't matter to the retailers. It doesen't cause a rift in the space time continuum. The only people that might bitch are the people that don't get in on the deal because they're all gone. 😛

but where does he sell it? locally? you'd have to know a lot of people in order to buy stuff online and sell it locally for a profit. Unless you have a few specific things you look for.

Your reading comprehension is strong. Yzzim's kung fu needs work. 😛
Edit: And I didn't misuse the word profit. Profit = income - basis. Ex. I recently bought a particular Xbox game for around $12. I sold it online for total of $36+. Comprende?

I understood it as:
I buy stuff on Ebay, for cheap. The stuff I don't need I sell and make money.
My question = Where do you sell this stuff you find on Ebay. You obviously can't resell it on Ebay since it didn't sell for much in the first place.
You = teh dumber 😛
