I'm going to have to agree that the Jetta is definitely a girl's car, but mostly for the fact that the demographic who's driving most of them are females. On the other hand, the Audi A4, which to me appears very similar in styling, is very much a man's vehicle. Don't really know why, but VW's just have that girly reputation among a lot of people.

Buy whatever makes you happy is the bottom line! I still drive my 1994 S-10 Blazer because it's comfortable and mostly paid for=)

Chick car or not, my '99 Jetta VR6 absolutely kicks ass. It's hard to have more fun driving any car for that price.

Really depends on the engine - get the 2.8L VR6 and its not a girls car. However, if you get the wimpy 2.0L, yah, its more of a girls car.

Besides, with minor mods, the VR6 can be stomping Preludes all day long

dude, so what your saying is that if people consider a car cute, than its a girls car automaticlly? have you thought about the design? the beetle may look cute but that doesnt give the label a chick car. look at the design, its sweet. Who's next for the kill?!
