All I can say is I don't know if there are other ETs like us with civilizations (intelligent life). I don't think we'll find out anytime soon. maybe small tiny organisms?

We don't have any evidence either way.

We don't have evidence that they do exist. Therefore I believe that they do not.

I can't believe how many people believe in extraterrestrial life, with no evidence, concrete proof, or even a reason to believe, yet still shun the existance of God.

There's a difference in believing that aliens exists vs that there exists one perfect alien (God) who is almighty and all knowing and omnipresent.

Believing in ET's doesn't require all the crap that comes along with believing in god.

You are comparing two different things. The existence of another Alien species is based on mathematical probability; i.e. they can exist if certain specific conditions are met. With GOd, however, there are no known variables that we know of, therefore the belief in god (at least now) cannot be verified be a calculation.

I said this in another thread on this topic a while ago:

I believe that there is probably some form of life that exists outside of this planet. That said, I don't believe that they would travel all the way here just to make funny designs in wheat fields and stick probes up people's asses.

I have no idea personally. I would like to think we aren't alone, but I have seen no proof beyond a reasonable doubt for either case. 🙂

Of course you don't have evidence that they do not exist but that's a dumb reason for saying that they could exist. There is no evidence that crabmen do not exist and continually fight wars with the "men with vaginas for heads", but do you think they could exist too just b/c there is no evidence that they do not?!?

Ive seen one, that counts as concrete proof to me.

I do believe, i always have, the human race is naive to believe we are alone. To me the existence of ET's is more plausible than the existence of God, but thats just me rebelling against years of force fed religion

"extra-terrestrial" means "outside/[out of] earth"...and IMHO there's not the slightest doubt that there are other planets where life evolved the same as it did on Earth.

Any 'non-believer' would have to give a really *good* argument why life could only develop on earth and not on countless other planets, more or less similiar to earth.....there are billions of stars with an enormous number of planets....and even if we reduce the number of planets to 'earth like' planets it's still an incredible big number.

And....of course....as big the chance that there is life elsewhere as small is the chance that the extraterrestrial life comes here 🙂
It's not only the distances - but also a time-factor and others plays a role.
Eg. there might be life on a planet for millions of years already - but the life must have have evolved to intelligent beings and developed tech etc...etc...

The only issue is timing.. Humans have only been around for a very short span of time and the odds of another intelligent form existing at the same time as we are in the long span of all time is very small. I do believe that some time there has or will be aliens but the odds of being in existance at the same time as us is very small.

i dont want to now

In the fuzzy sense of "Somewhere out there in the galaxy (or, at a minimum, in the universe), there is life"... yes I do. Do I believe they are visiting earth? No.
