Poll: Do u use a monitor filter screen ?

I heard it do help to reduce the glare but does it block the radiation ?

reason I am asking b/c I got a 15" fishbow/bubble monitor facing the windows and there is a lot of glare and I am wondering if I buy a filter, will it be better ?

yes. You're surrounded by radiation whenever you see something (or not see), infrared is radiation, you live in a world of electromagnetic waves. Do you know visible light is radiation? if you mean adding the screen blocks some photons from the CRT, yes it blocks radiation.

TVs and monitors don't generate much radiation at all...

radiation=propagation of electromagnetic waves (energy)

At night, it would be nice. It's hard to look at a black room with a bright-ass monitor in your face. But, alas, I do not.

Just turn the brightness/contrass down. Thats what I do.

I don't, but wish I did. It costs like $50 for a 17" monitor size. I get migraines with aura and most of the time it starts while staring at the screen. My brightness/contrast is almost all the way down now, but I know a filter will make it a lot easier.
