I can't believe no body said anything about Field Of Dreams...Probably his best flick after Dances with Wolves.

One of the movie where I didn't like it the first time around, but truly loved it the second time.

DVD 3 hrs 56 mins. God yes it requires quite a bit of attention span but well worth it.

I loved it. A bit longer than mostnormal movies, but one of those that I will gladly watch every once in a while.
It was the first movie I watched that showed a true representation of the native americans, as opposed to the bloodthirsty indians that prior movies showed.

Definitely a classic in it's own time.

PS: The Postman sucked

I actually like long movies. Give me a six hour movie! 90 minute movies seem like extended TV shows to me, but then I guess they sell, they're cheaper to produce and they get played on TV since they fit the 2 hour movie window well.

Yeah, liked DWW. Thought The Postman had potential, though Waterworld was one of the few times I've agreed with the critics. (least I think they didn't like it)

He was given an order. He followed it. He was dedicated to his mission.

His situation may be extreme, but that's what makes a good soldier.

Ooohhh-rah!

Well yes, I was like 10 at the time watching it. At that age all I wanted to watch was something like Mighty Max and Transformers.
