same. been driving since i was 16 and i'm 21 now. no speeding tickets.

my record's still clean. damn parking tickets.

I've been pulled over 4 times for speeding, one time for broken headlight, and one time for running a red light 🙁 I got a ticket 1 of those times. I was onced pulled over in a park by a ranger or something for speeding. I didn't even know rangers (or whatever they call those guys that take of the park) could give speeding tickets in parks.

me neither. but i fear it 😛

i fear getting pulled over in nj. the fine/point system in nj is utterly sick. you get fined double for speeding. 🙁

I was driving pretty quickly down Rt 42 in New Jersey towards PA, fast enough that my brakes barely stopped me for a light. I went to Friendly's and as I was getting out of my car and going into the door, a cop called me over. After claiming he clocked me (doubtful because my radar detector didn't make any noise, and he couldn't tell me how fast I was going (I really wanted to know 🙁)), he let me go without a ticket. I have not been pulled over for speeding at all other than that.

Yea, you would be surprised how many people admit to speeding after being told about being clocked, regardless of whether or not it was clocked. 🙂

I've been pulled over 4 times (if memory serves), and gotten 4 tickets. Twice the cop was very professional and I responded in kind (didn't get me anywhere obviously), twice he was a complete dick (and once I responded in kind).

I've earned several more than I've gotten though, as most people have, so I consider it a c.d.b. My wife still can't believe that I will immediately turn onto a sidestreet when I get clocked by a cop going the other way. I would never actually *run* from the police, but if I can make it a bit more difficult to find me, so be it. I've probably escaped a dozen tickets or more that way.

nope. been pulled over 3 times (first 2 times for speeding, 3rd time for: speeding, changing lanes without a turn signal, and about 3 other offenses he listed) and the worst ive ever gotten is a fix-it ticket for my tint on that first time i got pulled over. i havent been pulled over in years now though.

Got pulled over once, got a ticket and deserved it. Was about 20 at the time, ticketed for 73 in a 55. Have not been stopped since then despite driving 25,000+ miles a year and almost all of it above the speed limit. I didn't get pulled over so much for the speed, but for being stupid enough to be the only guy going that speed on that stretch of road at that time. Now I'm careful about fitting in with other traffic, if you're the 6th car in a row of 10 cars all doing 80 you're virtually invisible to cops. Only the front and back cars are really vulnerable.

No speeding ticket,until,the second time.

first time just told to slow down,I was 17 that time

I knew the Officer.😉

2nd time was over a year later,age 18 got a ticket 73 in a 55. 🙂

Next time,was about another 2 weeks later,LOL;
I was going 98mph in a 50;
State Cop gave me a ticket for 64 in a 50.

I had a slant 6 1964 Valiant,wanted to see if it would go 100.

It would not.

yes, i got a ticket. i paid it because i deserved to get it. i was 16. i haven't gotten another since. i actually drive faster these days, but i'm just smarter about when and where i do it.

no, 35 in a 25, age 18, about .25 miles from my house so I think he gave me some slack because I was on my way home from basketball practice and I was scared sh*tless

I've had my license for 20 years, and have never been pulled over for a moving violation. I was pulled over once when I was 17 for having expired tabs (they hadn't come in the mail yet, so it was dismissed when we presented them in court) and once for having a taillight out (but it wasn't burned out, the bastard just pulled me over to smell my breath because it was 3am and I was the only one on the road.)

I got pulled over for the first time when I was 18, I was doing 88 in a 55 zone. I was super polite with the officer but he was a fvcking moron. I ended up with 144$ plus 5 points.

The second time I was 21 and I was caught at 80 in a 60 zone. I was again super polite and the officer was very nice. I should have gotten the same thing again (144$/5pts), but he was nice and lowered the speed on the ticket, got 3 points plus 84$.

I don't speed much anymore, because of the damn gas that's getting more and more expensive. And as time passed, the 144$/5points has became 600$/5pts... 600$ is a lot of money!

I wasn't yet pulled over for speeding. However, I was once pulled over for taking a right hand turn where it wasn't allowed. In an end, I didn't had:
the driver licence with me
the car had its mandatory technical inspection overdue (I was coming from the exhaust shop as they didn't weld completely the new exhaust and it was pulling oxygen, so blowing out the pollution checks)
As I wasn't able to find the driver licence, I forgot to give the proof of mandatory insurance
(and by the way, the semaphore was red when I crossed)

I got a ticket only for the right turn 😀

About a month after I turned 21.
3days after I got my new car.
In the middle of nowhere, country road going through cornfields.
I was doing 75 in a 55 (straight road), they got me doing 64 in 55 a few minutes later.

After that I've been pulled over 3 times, gotten off without a ticket🙂
77 in 65 local highway, coming home from a race and driving a couple friends (was 21)
77 in 65 on PA turnpike (was 23)
65 in 45 on local country road, the speed limit went from 65 to 55 to 45 as it went into a residential area (as if residential areas have cows in their backyards) (was 23)
