if they never did land on the moon, it must be like the greatest coverup business ever. some of those involved who are still alive would have spoken up. maybe we should give mankind and the administration and technology then some credit huh?

Well, IMHO, if you don't believe we went to the moon I suppose you also believe Elvis is still alive and that you have been abducted by aliens numerous times.....why am I really worried about the future of mankind???? 😕

Give me one good reason why someone would "speak up" after 30years? You don't think the Government has provided them with ample hush money and job security after all of these years?

And no, I don't believe Elvis is alive. I just don't believe we landed on the moon. 30+ years after landing on the moon, why with these great leaps in technology have we not returned or attempted to go to Mars? Why? Why not go back to the moon with better technology where we could gather more scientific data? Why?, Because we CAN'T, we NEVER were there in the first place! Answer those questions and I might believe we went there in the first place.

Why?

1. "President" Bush just cut funding to NASA
2. There is no cold war competition to drive an expedition out of a profound feeling of nationalism
3. There is no public support for a trip to the Moon or Mars, because the American people are so stupid that they would rather put the money elsewhere, and don't see a reason to go there
4. The costs of going to Mars are astronomical because a new shuttle would have to be designed, and the new shuttle was just cancelled, not to mention that the technology hasn't increased enough, such as growing food, finding a way to reach the surface without dying, surviving the martian heat for a long time, etc.


a counter question:
If the technology to fake a moon landing has increased so much, making it ridiculously easy, then why haven't they faked one again?
