free cable internet! Hehe my apartment building was supposed to start charging us (or they did last year, Cox had it set up so that we had to register a username/password for a one time deal) well evidently they forgot about my room..hahahah...friends down the hall had to pay though

Oh, the great days of the Hayes 2800 Baud external serial modem and the BBS - fun stuff!

I had the 2400 Hayes external serial modem.

Who needs 14.4kbps when you can have 2.4kbps

I remember it took about 3 mins to download 1 average page, and about an hour to send a few emails.

Edit: Oh and im on dual 1mbps/256kbps cable modems, and im in the UK
