i have both the logitech optical mouse and a microsoft intellimouse (the old one, mechanical..)
the intellimouse is far better imo, the wheel is far better than that on the logitech mouse, also the shape of the mouse is better. i have had it for nearly 2 years now, and it's still going like brand new. oh, and for the price of an optical logitech, you'll probably get two of these.. heh

iFeel Mouse - bottom line... nothin' says lovin' like a mouse vibrating in your hand ;-). It actually feels wierd using a standard mouse at work...

I voted for Logitech but dont get the cordless version. It lags (30ms+ delay)and is very heavy due to the batteries.

Cordless mice still aren't up to scratch with there USB brothers. Thats why companies are not moving to cordless systems all together.

I'm all in favor of Logitech's cordless mouseman. Of course, I don't play games, so the lag that Finality mentions is irrelevant to me while (understandably) it is a big deal to others. For me the ergonomics are great, the freedom of not having a cord is wonderful and battery consumption is not a major factor.
