of course,I bought a "Smell-O-Vision" from Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth.

what you don't have one?

sure, almost anything can kill you, given the right circumstances.
but with a USB cable, those circumstances would be absolutely worthy of a Darwin Award.

It's impossible. Even sitting in a metal bath of salted water and somewhat touching the power pins of the port it would do nothing because the body resistance is too high. There simply isn't enough voltage to cause any significant current flow trough a human being.
Now if you drop the hole computer in the bath with you there may be a problem as the 120 V AC would be more then enough to electrocute you.
Post pics after your attempt.

A fitting end for a geek.

Most geeks would not (unintentionally) go to the exterme limits to kill themselves via USB. Anyone THAT knowledgeable would probably use the SMPS anyway.

And seriously, what's to be gained from it anyway? With normal use, USB won't kill anyone.

With abnormal use, you would have to be really thick to want to kill via USB rather than a more conveniently placed power socket.

I think if you stab two steel rods through the heart and then put 5V across them, you could probably die from the current.

I would think you'd die from the steel rods through the heart, first.
