:(

i am getting this at windows 2000 startup. i also posted another message.

i press F6 to install 3rd party RAID driver
this installs successfully.

then i am taken to the install partition screen, shows my 2 drives as 1 120GB unpartitioned space
i have already chosen the raid setup 2+0 stripe or 0+2 stripe before running setup - don`t remember and windows tells me that my drive ( 2x60GB ) is indeed 120GB, so i chose to partition i go back to find that my drive is indeed partitioned, with 8mb of unpartitioned space indicated underneath >> what is that for
so i then goto format ( remember still using the windows 2000 serice pak 1 CD )not the setup disks and am told that the drive(s) are either new erazed or incompatible for windows 2000, there is some more mumbo jumbo.

if i use fdisk i get told nofixed disks present, but this has never hindered me b4, they are always recognised by setup progs. HELP plz as this is the only machine i have access to and had to pull it apart and install backup drive to post this.

i did install the right driver at f6
i have ran ibm drive fitness tests all ok

remember when i run fdisk i get the message NO FIXED DISKS PRESENT
