POLL: Comma Usage

I'd rather read something where the commas are present and in complete working order. Anything else is a pain in the butt.

poorly-placed or missing commas confuse me for a few seconds because it can mean the difference in a sentence... PITA.

Poorly placed commas, suck.

Also, unnecessary apostrophe's blow.

apostrophes

An apostrophe does not indicate plural, except when pluralizing numbers, single letters or abbreviations.

There's a sale on sarcasm meter's at Costco. 🙂

I'd also argue that the apostrophe is slowly falling out of use for pluralizing letters and abbreviations, as well as dates. I don't use it for writing stuff like "the 1960s", "LEDs", or "As and Bs".

At least in Britain. It's hanging on here in the US, but it's one of those American punctuation conventions I just don't agree with.

😕 It doesn't look funny. It looks the way it should.
