I know there's been countless studies about this, but I can't seem to find any concrete numbers. So I'm hoping to get some numbers I can use for a paper I'm writing.

You don't need concrete numbers. You major has nothing to do with what you actually do.

4 year finance, investment banking for 6 years, now doing real estate development but still finance related.
