I watch all 3 networks a lot.

Fox definately has a conservative slant, but has become a bit more moderate in recent months. MSNBC is very centrist network (except for the new Alan Keyes show). And CNN is now also a fairly centrist network....having shed it's occasional liberal slant of past years.

MSNBC was my favorite during the last couple of years, but now I give the edge to CNN.

CNN simply has the best and fastest "breaking news" coverage. Seems like they got people and cameras everywhere.

Fox News all the way. It's the only news group out there the represents the news correctly.

Umm, yeah. Fair and balance . . . here's what we think and then here's 20 seconds of the least knowledgable and literate proponent of the opposing view.

I know you are probably talking about news channels, but I like PBS news and related shows. I also watch fox and cnn, but McNeil/Lehier or what ever it is isn't so sensationalists (sp).

If you merge the two . . . PBS/McNeil/Leher News Hour it is the only news that represents events with the least bias and sensationalism.

Then again it also requires an attention span longer than Ann Coulter's skirts.

Fox News is a disgusting K-Mart brand of "journalism" desigened to attract people who cannot watch the news without some sort of glitz or entertainment. The Geraldo incident and the dripping blood on the 9-11 Country in Crisis splash screen come to mind.

CNN and MSNBC are much more straight news networks. IMHO, it all goes down to crunch time. When something happens, CNN is the first one there, they have the most information, and they have the most coorespondants.

Outside of those, if you want informative, unbiased news, watch the BBC.

First off, I am liberal and require a good news source.

I think that all of the choices listed are garbage when it comes to news. I voted for other.

The news organizations all report the same stories that they feel that the american people are interested in. They don't give us a world perspective. When a world issue is brought up it is only because the U.S. has some direct interest in it.

CNN: has become worse than garbage lately (used to be decent). It is more of a talk show/morning show than a news station. news coverage of a story is too limited in time so they can't even report on it properly.

Foxnews: almost decent in news quality. They have a professional image. They are very biased on almost every issue. (why can't we make up our OWN minds!)again, fails because they show only what the average american dumb shome wants to hear. OMG I HATE Shepard Smith!!! news coverage of a story is too limited in time so they can't even report on it properly.

MSNBC: it's ok. not broad enough. shows the same stories as the other two news services. Broadcasters are ok. fairly unbiased but still biased to america. news coverage of a story is too limited in time so they can't even report on it properly.

Love you way you ducked the arguement I presented hehe

You haven't changed a bit, always go for the personal shot when you don't have a counter arguement.

Sooo predictable ;)

Has there ever been a news source quoted on AT that someone hasn't called bias or had some other problem with them?

I only watch live videotape of the event as it's happening...no prerecorded news for me ;)

I guess that makes *me* the most hardcore newswatcher
