which one would you buy?
the motherboard limitations would make the celeron only work at abotu 900MHz ish (before overclocking), so keep that in mind!
they're both ~40 bucks

Which motherboard are you using? The tualatin based 1.4ghz celery will whipe the floor with the Piii 733 coppermine (even at 900mhz). BTW are you sure your board will support tualatins? It has to be pin compatible or you'll need a special $20 adapter, do a search for it.

i'm already buying the adapter :) i'm buying a neo 370/T adapter which allows for the tualatins.

THanks!

Why would it only work @ 900MHz? The multiplier is locked @ 14X. 14 x 100 = 1.4 GHz.

He must be running his FSB at 66 . ;)

14X66 = 924

If he has a 66 MHz FSB mobo (440LX), the Tually will not work. It has to be 440BX. If that were the case, the PIII 733 would operate @ 366 MHz, which would not be an option either.

What is the mobo model?

810E does. Early 810 does not. I worked on a POS Compaq with an 810. 66 only. I was surprised too.

My Tualatin beats any PIII 733. Look at my signature below, o/c from 1.3 to 1.47ghz and that's with just a standard HSF on it.

I have high hopes of getting 1.6 ghz from it.
