sounddomain had a great deal going on CDT component sets that were painted the wrong color. dunno if its still available.

out of all those, either Alpine or JVC

I have JVC and it rocks.. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. they work fantastic, and my JVC sounds a million times better than my friends Sony deck (we have the same car and the same stock speakers - the setups are pretty much completely identical)

only brands I don't like are Sony and Pioneer. Panasonic is OK too, just not much experience with them... I like the looks of some of their new decks.

I have this deck and like i said before.. i love it!

This years model, more features, and between the lower shipping charge and the free wiring
and install kit you are paying about the same. My coworker just got one of these and they
look pretty damn nice up close (the remote is on the big side, but I like the remotes that are
the size of a playing card, not thinner and longer like this one).
