Poll: Capt. Pike or Capt. Kirk?

Hard to judge, Kirk had 79 episodes with 6 movies to back him up. Pike had only two episodes.

Not sure how many novels featured Kirk and Pike though.

the actor who said, 'this crap is too dorky for me' and so was only on 1 (or 2?) episodes of star trek before calling it quits. so, captain kirk was hired and now we have the priceline negotiator.

Pike was great though. I loved that pilot episode with him as Captain.

My favorites have always been:

City on the Edge of Forever
Space Seed
Balance of Terror
Where No Man Has Gone Before

Ugh, no. Sisko is the reason I could never get into DS9. Avery Brooks' acting is worse than William Shatner's.
