6'4" here. Used to be in shape enough to get oh so close (only needed another inch or two on my vertical), and actually did dunk once in my lifetime. Those days are over, and now I'm 50lbs heavier.

6'1" I can dunk a tennis ball, baseball or golfball, but not a basketball. I'm white and have no hop.

I'm 6'0. Many years ago I had a friend that was the same height and weight as me and he could dunk real well. He taught me the mechanics of how to do it and gave me a routine to strengthen the right muscles. After working with him for three months, I could sometimes get the ball over the rim while practicing (not slamming). When I tried it in games, I just looked like an idiot though. I could dunk volleyballs at that time though.
