Mike MaGee spun off the Inquirer after being booted off his original site, The Register which he was one of the founders of.

MaGee is a terrible alcoholic, even by British standards, plus he's incredibly obese. It's amazing the guy is still alive at all.. The other co-owners have a very negative view on him to say the least.

/works at The Register :)

I like reading the Inquirer. Some of the articles are a bit humorous. Some of the long term predictions are a bit off, but then again, most long term predictions in the tech industry are a bit off. They do give early tidbits on some stories a lot of times, so it's worthwhile to read. They try to get stories out before others and sometimes the info changes, is inaccurate, etc. but hey, at least they're not like every other tech site regurgitating the same news. If you read it with an open mind, you should be fine. And I wouldn't trust the poll...most AT'ers just love to bash the Inq.
