I've heard all sorts of things and read all sorts of things regarding these people.

I want to see what is the general feedback from AT readers.

After all these years, I can read an Inquirer news item and tell if it is
1) Accurate
2) Kinda close - ripped off from all the rumors floating around and the rumors can't ALL be false
3) Yeah right, the writer wishes these specs were real

That's all well and good but sometimes I don't know what to make of the info there.

Charlie Demerjian is the only one who can be trusted. But nothing is even clsot to 100% sure, but he will post the best that is known at the current time, but its entirely likely it will change at a later date.

Interesting. Right now I'm just wondering about the validity of the NV 8 Series info.

If you want accuracy in life, there are two things you should never do.

1. Never read the Enquirer
2. Never listen to G W Bush :p

I believe he means the Enquirer, like the National Enquirer. It's one of those rag sheets they have on sale in the store checkout line.

The information is as reliable as the source they get it from. Since the Inquirer does name their source it is up to you to decide on each story. On the whole they seem to post things that come from reliable sources and when it is from a questionable source they point that out.

You're welcome but be careful of the information there because I'm still trying this poll out to see from the more experienced people whether or not the info there is more or less valid.

taken straight from homepage: New, reviews, facts and friction.

i don't trust the Inquirer but it does give a rough indication of the current rumors.

Here's what I do. If it shows up by itself on the Reg. or the Inq., it might be ok. If it shows up on the Reg. or the Inq. and another sight, like hardocp or madshrimps, it's probably true. If it shows up on both the Reg. and Inq., it's almost certainly true. If it shows up on thew Reg., the Inq. and Anandtech, bet your savings on it.

I am starting to think that by these poll results...

the Inquirer shouldn't be trusted.
