No doubt. This was definitely a choice between 2 evils.
I think that the fact that I grew up in the Pacific NW and still voted for CA shows exactly what I think of Texas...
 
Well, if you ever watched the movie "Full Metal Jacket", you'll know Texas is full of steers and queers, and since Texmaster isn't a steer, that kinda narrows it down a bit, doesn't it? 😛

Now as for Texas vs. California... i dunno, texas gave us GW Bush and California gave us Reagan... kinda hard to vote which one is worse 😉

But if i had to choose, i guess Cali.

My guess is this poll was about all the retarded flames going back and forth between Berkley liberals and Texas conservatives. Maybe thats just how it appeared when I read the original post.
 
Been to Cali a few times, most recently, NorCal this summer for a couple of weeks. Truly is God's country out there.

I would say Cali is the best state in the union, followed closely by Michigan. 🙂
 
hmmm, how about neither? Texas is too big and hot and cali is full of morons... and it is also too hot! Lets all move to the midwest and just be happy there
 
You can take all of the money that Enron gave the Bush admin and his cronies and I still wouldn't move to texas. Besides California is the place you outta be, so go load up yer truck and head to beverly!
 
i remember when iw as little i used to watch the price is right. i live in socal btw. Anwaysy sometimes when someone won a little game, they win a TRIP TO CALIFORNIA!! blah blah blah. no one ever won a trip to texas. thus i vote california

No it's not, they all migrated to Washington🙂 BTW Washington is a great place to live. Hey any of you guys looking for to move to a great State, Washington's the place. The Companies there are always looking to hire because the local's don't measure up or have the necessary skills needed (like reading comprehension). You can also hang out with Frasier and Niles along with Anandtech's own Russ .
 
I lived in California for awhile....and it was okay.

I spent two weeks in Texas a few years back, and I don't care if I ever return.
