Poll: Bush vs. Edwards

Edwards is my favorite of any of the possible (or confirmed) candidates in the next presidential election. Most every comment from all sides I've seen about him has been positive or at worst mildly negative. I just thought I'd throw this up to get a feel how others would go if this was the choice we were presented with in November.

You can bet Edwards will find some qualified Blacks and Hispanics and Asians for his government, if any.

I'd certainly take him over Kerry or Gebhart or Lieberman. And by a large margin.

Me too. I like Edwards (voted for him for Senate), Dean, and Clark.

Bush is getting his butt handed to him and I'm surprised. :)

Where are all the Bushies?

Working overtime for 40 hour pay?

Actually it is still the work day here in the land of opportunity, plus you have to figure in the leftist slant of this forum.;)

I'm a fan of Edwards. I'm still stuck between him or Kerry though for voting.

CAD:

Hey, I'm an old guy and I DO vote! Even in polls. :)

What leftist slant? I think this place is populated by right wing bigots. j/k :) Tekkies tend to be pretty conservative, IMHO.

Actually, we have a fairly good mix.

But, query, does this little poll suggest that Bush may be in trouble when paired against a Southern Moderate?

Hmmmm.....

(Right now I think Bush is still very secure in November, unfortunately.)

unusual results so far

maybe there should be a poll with these options

Bush over Dean
Bush over Edwards
Dean over Bush
Dean over Edwards
Edwards over Dean
Edwards over Bush

meaning if I pick Edwards over Bush I would rather have Bush than Dean but if I could choose Edwards I would

All the national polls, including polls conducted by the DNC show Bush with a 25-30% point lead over all major democrat candidates. Those polls count more than this one.

Uh, really dude, what ya' been smokin'? I mean, like, uh, DUDE, Bush is ahead, but, uh, well, DUDE, he's only ahead of most dems by a few percentage points. :)

If I thought that many people said they'd vote for the BUSH MORON I'd retire to Southern France....

He's gotta' be the worst Prez since Hoover. At least Nixon had a brain....

Well, Edwards is a big uniknown to me, that puts him above Bush..... anyone have a good site listing Edwards position on things?
I don't particularly like any of the other candidates either, but currently would put Dean over Edwards not because there is anything wrong I can say about Edwards it's that he is TOO unknown.

I would vote for John Edwards that guy who purports to communicate with the dead before I vote for GWB. AND, I think that guy is a fraud.

The BBC and CNN both have summeries about the candidates. The CNN one is better, but it does not go into a lot of detail on everything. CNN only gives a brief summery of each issue, which is good and bad.

I'm a republican and I would consider voting for Edwards over Bush.

Well, I see the Bushies mounted a semi-effective "get out the vote" campaign. :)

Even with Canadians voting, Edwards is winning by a large margin. Er...........BLAME CANADA!

Sorry, couldn't help myself. :)
