vs.
Jet Li, consecutive gold champion of National martial arts competition.

If they fought 1 vs 1, hand to hand combat, who would be the last one standing?



(been debating this with friends for awhile now... i say advantage Bruce Lee).
 
As if there can be a question...let's see one created his own style and the other is but a follower. If you give them equal physical abilities then you have to go with BL over JL no question.
 
Neither, they're both fake movie artists... you don't actually believe they fly 20 feet into the air with amazing jumpkicks, do you?

That's true.....I don't know what we should be basing our judgements on anyway. But all in all, I'd pick Jet Li. 🙂
 
Hard to say. They both are pretty tough. Another good question is how do you think these guys would do in a competition like UFC or the Pride Fighting Championships?

Nupe, Jet Li was best martial artist in China before he went Hollywood. That guy trained in the Shaolin temple. He is the real deal.
Same with Bruce Lee. That guy freakin invented his own martial arts.

maybe not 20 feet, but the guy's got hops. i think he can jump over his own height.
 
ummm....bruce lee is dead

so i would pick jet li

and even if bruce were alive, he'd be one old dude

but seriously...jet li would win because of the benefit of sports nutrition and nutritional science and his training regimen...
 
For those of you who think Bruce is the better one, do you think he's one of the best fighters of all time?
How do you think he would fare against a boxer... say Mike Tyson?
 
I believe Lee would win because he's been known to win by &quot;unhonorable&quot; means, aka, by any means necessary.
 
I don't think Lee would be able to put up much of a fight, being a corpse and all. It would probably be an easy win for Li.
 
If you consider Bruce Lee in his prime vs Jet Li, Bruce Lee would win.

Right now I'd have to agree...with Lee being a corpse...Jet Li would have a somewhat lopsided fight...and if Lee was alive, well he'd be pretty old and frail 😉
 
As for the challenge of Li vs Lee, then Id have to say Jet Li would win. That corpse wouldnt stand a chance. Maybe 5 years ago i'd bet on the corpse of Bruce Lee but I hear he's losing his edge...
