I think the C class looks better.

Not much of car guru like the rest of you guys, but even i know Benz C-Class equals the Cheap Class.

I will never understand the logic....
Here you have a guy who asks a point blank question, which of these TWO would you choose, yet there are always though who feel the need to throw in their two cents especially when their choice isn't listed....
for example:
Right, throw in an econo box when the person is looking a luxury cars...makes sense, not....

Acura TL...G35 might be a fair comparison/alternative but still the guy is asking for one or the other...not your two cents on what you think is a better choice.
At least Kelvrick gives a nice non rice rocket suggestion, but still not focusing on the two instead more concerned with his two cents.

Ahh, a glorified toyota camry is pure luxury?....and since when is a TL even considered "luxury"....
Another suggestion that isn't even one of the options, at least this guy admits though that he bought the car and is heavily biased.
Another non option suggestion....
And finally my favorite, just because it is funny....
So here we have 8, not counting Mani's suggestion, people who just felt the need to suggest what they would buy even when not asked outside of the two stated options....sorry but I don't see the need to throw in my 2 when the person obviously doesn't want to hear it....
In response to the OP, go with the BMW if you want sporty or the Merc if you want a more luxurious ride, in the end only you can decide.

you just threw in a hell lot of "2 cent's" yourself
the C- class is known to be unreliable and lower class merc's are usually built quite poorly
with that said, the BMW 3-series is a better buy.
BMW pwns MB... Tested many cars while I was looking into the entry level of luxury... Yeah I'm poor.
The C-class is POS. Drove it and hated it..... if you want luxury interior get the Lexus.... if you want handling get a BMW.... if you want HP get a G35 ... if you want "bling bling and show people you can't afford a nice MB well get a C-Class..... If you want german car with a great line of mods Audi seems to fit the bill..... If you want reliability and save some money get the Acura TL.....
