Blockbuster selection >> Netflix

Plus you get free in store rental coupons. More movies for the same money.

i used blockbuster for a long time..until I realized that netflix had a better selection and they don't edit their movies. So I switched to netflix and haven't been happier.

i tried netflix for a while but hate waiting for movies. if i'm in a mood to see a certain movie, i don't want to wait 2 days to see it. blockbuster > netflix

Netflix because I don't like going to the rental store to both pick-up and drop off the movies... my mailbox is much closer. And maybe our local Blockbuster is just crappy, but Netflix has a much better selection.

Netflix because their distribution center is only ~30 miles away :D
(The closest BlockBuster is in MN).

Between the two definitely netflix.....

Blockbusters selection of indie/documentary/foreign films is so piss poor it's unbelievable....

I really don't like netflix though because of the throttling, but you can't beat their selection....
If you live anywhere near the bay area, I would try out greencine....I've read great things about them.

Interesting. We are on the one movie at a time plan so I guess we don't fall into the "heavy renter" catagory and have thus never experienced any delays.

Netflix rocks... I love it because I can get alot of the old movies that I really like as well as the new releases. I don't mind the wait... Netflix has always been pretty quick for me.

It depends:

Netflix if you intend to build a collection.

Blockbuster for occasional renting and getting new movies.

Netflix has a larger selection, I was subscribed for a year, by the end, I could NOT get a new movie EVER! Blockbuster is pretty much the same for new movies and decent at old selections, but it really beats netflix if you have a blockbuster nearby. I rent 2 new movies a month locally and get about 1 old movie/wk in the mail all for only $10!!! beat that!
